What I Like About This Course
Right now, my blog has over a hundred posts and I am looking to reach out to more readers through email marketing strategy. Building a resource page/guide as suggested by Leadpages is a great idea because it fits well with the intention of my niche.
Here’s a video of that tutorial if you wish to know more.
Overall, I find that the topics are very organized and professionally delivered. They offer some very good tips on conversion techniques that I’ve never thought about before and I certainly hope to implement this in the near future.
Who Should Take This Course?
Having completed the course myself, I find that it is most suited for;
- Those who are already making conversion (sales) from their website traffic.
- Marketers who want to diversify their affiliate income with good digital products such as Leadpages. (Hint – Leadpages pays 30% recurring commission to their affiliates)
- People who are familiar with website technicalities such as WordPress set-up and the navigation.
- Bloggers who want to boost their content promotion through webinars, email marketing and paid advertisement.
If you are in any of these stages of affiliate business, please visit the course for more details.
However, this course WILL NOT be the right fit if you are in any of the following situation;
- New to affiliate marketing.
- Still don’t know what niche to be involved with.
- Haven’t created a website or content yet.
- Still new to the concept of traffic generation.
- Don’t have the budget (yet) to invest in paid traffic.
If this is truly your case, do not despair because there’s another free course that you can take to get things started. At Wealthy Affiliate, the free beginner course offers video/text tutorials, to-do tasks and interactive discussions that will walk you through the proper setup of an online business through these steps.
- Understanding the basics of earning money through the affiliate marketing business model.
- Learn to choose a niche that you want to grow into an online business.
- Learn to create your own WordPress website.
- Setting up your site for the search engines and for your readers.
- Understand the process of keyword research.
- Use long tail keywords to create valuable content within your niche.
These topics will give you a good foundation to kick start any ideas that you want to turn into an online business. In fact, by publishing content frequently, you’ll be driving targeted traffic to your site in no time. Once your traffic escalates, you can then implement the techniques from Leadpages to boost your affiliate conversion.
The More You Learn, The Better You Become
Not many big companies would put together a structured (legitimate) course to assist online marketers so I am quite pleased to discover this one from Leadpages. I am definitely keeping them in my good books.
I hope this simple review has provided you with a good understanding about which free online affiliate marketing courses to choose when it comes to building and growing your business. Let me know your thoughts or questions in the comment below, if you have any and I’ll get back to you as soon.

This seems like something interesting indeed. I have Optimize Press to use for building landing pages but they do not offer any affiliate training.
I am a member of Wealthy Affiliate and though I am building an authority site, I would like to try a faster and more direct form of marketing by using a squeeze page and paid traffic. Would Leadpages be a good choice for learning and setting this up?

Given the elaborated course that they have outlined, I think it’s worth trying out their software. The pricing between the two company is also fairly competitive, so that’s something to look into.

Hi,
This sounds like a really good resource actually. I’ve been an affiliate marketer for just over a year now and I’m making sales but I’d like to be making more (obviously).
What I mean by that is that I’m looking for ways to generate more sales and more traffic. Does this Leadpages affiliate marketing course teach about traffic generation?
Also, that Wealthy Affiliate you mentioned sounds good as well. Do they teach other ways of making money online or only affiliate marketing?
Thanks.
Cathy says
Hey Robert, to answer your questions;
1) Two out of the 11 part series in Leadpages do teach you about promotional strategies such as social outreach, email marketing and such. It is assumed that you already have content in place for this.
2) At Wealthy Affiliate, the core training focuses on affiliate marketing which is basically content marketing that can be applied to local businesses as well. They mainly teach you to make money using free traffic (SEO and social) and if you want something more advanced, you can always join the PPC course to generate from paid traffic.
Hope this helps!

Really thorough review you have here Cathy. Leadpages seems like an interesting course and affiliate program for that matter. I can see how someone with experience can benefit from using this software. As for beginners, I would have to give my +1 to Wealthy Affiliate – it’s a top notch community that will provide you with the tools and step-by-step training when you are starting out green in online marketing.

This is a great review on Leadpages. You have increased my awareness as I had not heard about it yet.
I would like to try it out as it looks like there is great value and provides results. What kind of results have you achieved? The training seems like it would add value for me as an affiliate marketer.
Cathy says
Hi Miles, my review is mainly for the free course that they offer – not the product itself. I would probably invest in it once I gain traction with my online traffic.

Seems like a useful tool to build quick landing pages for promotion purposes. I imagine it’ll be useful for paid marketing affiliates too.
I used to run a lot of bing ads (the paid search result links) and I had to use WYSIWYG editors to create attractive landing pages. It would have been useful if I had a tool like Leadpages.

Hey Cathy,
Thanks for sharing the review on leadpages. I have heard about it before, but have been gun shy to give it a go. Looks like it can provide excellent results. Have you found success with it?
The training seems worthwhile at the very least for affiliate marketers. Thanks for sharing.
Cathy says
Hey John, I don’t use Leadpages (yet) as I am in the situation of bootstrapping my online business for now. There are ways to build landing pages without any software, but this is something nice to have if you are an advanced marketers.
