Free Online Marketing Training Course by Launch 2 Success – What’s Inside

Anyone who’s looking to start a business online on a shoestring budget would usually look into the free options first. I am guessing that’s one of the reasons why you’ve come to this page. What can you expect from such training? Read on to find out more.

What Is Launch 2 Success

This program is a free online marketing training course created by EZ-NetTools, an IT company in Idaho that provides website development services to online businesses around the world. It contains guides and courses to help owners in various aspects of marketing strategies on the internet.

Inside The Guides

The first part of the program is the web marketing guides and there are about 38 of them at the point of writing this review. Basically, they are long articles that have many links pointing out to external sites such as Huffington Post’s, Entrepreneur and some that links to their own blog posts.

These guides cover a wide range of topics from WordPress tips, YouTube traffics as well as listing small business on Google.  

The Pros;

The all-text guides are fairly easy to understand and serves as a good introduction to any given topics.  

The Cons;

In reality, this information is very general and can be obtained elsewhere from the internet if you researched on your own. The guides are just merely compilations for easy reading.

Inside The Courses

What I was more interested in is the courses because I feel that they would give beginners a better walk-through on broader topics. Firstly, you’d need to enroll as a member – don’t worry, they only ask for your email, nothing too personal. After that, you can access the following courses;

• Podcast and RSS marketing
• Keyword Research – Getting Great Keywords
• Email Marketing Basics
• Using Google Sitemap
• Web Design Principles
• YouTube and Online Video Marketing

The Pros;

All the courses are made up of a series of videos, so this is a viable option for those who prefer engagement type of learning style, especially when you are facing with complicated topics such as keyword research.

The Cons;

As you can see, the course topics are pretty random and there is no sequence to which one comes first. In other words, it’s not really a step-by-step type of training and this can be confusing for beginners.

The biggest let down is actually the video themselves because they appear to be created back in the year 2012 and while some of the information is still useful, the video quality could seriously benefit from some upgrades.  

Plus, with so many topics that were covered in the guides section, I expected the instructors to create more videos to help with challenging topics. With the web marketing technology constantly evolving, six courses are certainly not enough to teach new things to people.

My Thoughts About This Course

From top to bottom, Launch 2 Success is just a very basic program. It only provides a handful of information, but doesn’t give a clear picture of what to expect with the reality of internet marketing. After reading the guides and watching the videos, I feel that people will be left dangling with thoughts on what to do next.

When it comes to learning about starting an online business from scratch, my most preferred platform would be Wealthy Affiliate.

You see, back in 2014, I was clueless about online marketing. I browsed through many sites, subscribed to many newsletters and still couldn’t connect the dots together. Yup, it was really that confusing from a beginner’s standpoint, so I totally understand where you are coming from.

Then, very unexpectedly, I came across a free online marketing training course which appears to integrate WordPress hosting, an online education platform and a keyword research tool – all in one place. After taking the first level, everything starts making sense.

Why is this course so different from the others?

It’s action-based learning. You see, every lessons come with a set of instructions that implements what you’ve learned on your very own website. So instead of just sitting there and absorbing black and white information, you are actually doing things to see what works and what doesn’t. This is a crucial process that most people often to overlook.

Instead of overloading oneself with information, what people really need is a virtual step-by-step guide and hands-on experience so that they can get things up and running. You’d definitely see better results that way.

With the help of their training, I was able to build my first WordPress website, master the skills of researching keywords and write 3 articles per week that are all making their way to the first page of Google. If I’d stuck with all the passive learning methods, I am pretty sure that I wouldn’t achieve all these milestones.
