Do you have a blog that talks about coffee? Then you’re in luck because I am about to introduce 11 gourmet coffee affiliate programs that come with some very interesting offers. Not only will these selections perk up everyone’s taste buds, but they also let you cash in on the world’s most popular beverage.
Why Choose Gourmet Coffee?
Firstly, it tastes different from your regular supermarket coffee. Due to the unique way it is cultivated and processed, gourmet coffee is considered a higher grade beverage and therefore sells at premium prices. They also make great gifts during peak shopping seasons.
The interesting part is that more companies are now selling their products online to meet growing customer demands so it’s becoming easier to purchase even the rarest selection on the market. Amazon may be the first place that comes to mind, but it may not always be the best place in terms of affiliate earnings.
In my previous review of the Starbucks affiliate program, we know that items from the grocery category pay 5% in commission. This may seem higher than the average 4% but from what I’ve researched, gourmet coffee companies are willing to pay much higher if you refer customers their way. For higher values, your commission cut will surely be bigger too.
Another reason to promote gourmet coffee is the opportunity to tie with bigger priced items like coffee makers that usually sell in the range of hundred dollars. Earning a small percentage from these sales can add significantly to your overall earnings.
So let’s not waste time and see what premium coffee company are opening doors to affiliates.
1 – Cluwak (Kopi Luwak)
Produced from coffee beans that are literally picked out of the poop of Asian civet cats, feeding on coffee berries, kopi luwak is probably one of the most expensive coffee in the market. Due to its labor-intensive processing method, a 100g whole bean can easily fetch up to $138 per bag.
The harvesting technique can be somewhat discomforting, but the taste is completely legit with people claiming the drink to be smooth, delicious and bitter free. For the conservationist, however, the making of this coffee has sparked controversies due to the discovery of unregulated/abusive farming these civet cats are subjected to. Some even go as far as discouraging people from buying kopi luwak.
Meanwhile, it’s not uncommon to find fake products under this label in the market, hence sourcing for the right supplier is important if you want to make sure your money is well-spent. Cluwak is a company that specializes in producing only kopi luwak since 1989 and its coffee derives from free-range civet cats in the forest of Sumatra.
It offers the Gold and Black label varieties and provides free shipping worldwide. The affiliate program pays 10% in sales commissions and can be applied directly from the main website. Their online interface may seem a bit dated but so far, but they are the most legit company we could find so far.
2 – Peet’s Coffee
Since 1966, Peet’s Coffee has been selling premium coffee from the Americas, Africa, and Indo-Pacific through retail. Now, you can also purchase tea, equipment and subscription coffee through its online store.
Their products are known to be fresh and flavorful as the coffee is only roasted when you place an order. And when you purchase anything more than $29, your shipping is considered free.
The referral incentives come in two forms. First, they have the refer-a-friend program that lets you earn $10 for referring a new friend as a customer. In return, your friend will get $10 off from their first purchase.
The second one is the affiliate program that can be applied through the CJ Affiliate Network. Depending on whether you’re referring a new or returning online customer, the commission ranges between 4 – 8% per sale.
3 – Death Wish
Not to be confused with the thriller drama, Death Wish is actually a brand name for the world’s strongest coffee, hailing from Saratoga Springs. The bold taste apparently came from a selection of blended beans combined with its unique roasting method.
People who favor highly caffeinated coffee to kick start their day will likely love this brand. In fact, if you don’t think it’s strong enough, the company is willing to make a full refund. Talk about 100% guarantee confidence!
At this moment, they have yet to launch an affiliate program but since they sell on Amazon, you can actually become an Amazon Associate and earn the 5% sales commissions.
Alternatively, you could go through its referral program and earn points for your own coffee purchase in the future. Your referral, on the other hand, will get a 15% off discount code. There are other methods to earn more points once you sign up as a member, so remember to check those out.
4 – Volcanica Coffee
As the brand name suggests, this company specializes in roasting premium coffee deriving from volcanic regions such as Hawaii, Costa Rica, Sumatra, and Malawi. Beans that are grown in these areas are known to produce exquisite aroma and you’ll get to experience that too from your freshly roasted orders.
They offer a wide range of coffee selection – from the finest such as the Jamaica Blue Mountain and Peaberry varieties to the flavorful like Chocolate Creme Brulee and Toasted Marshmallow (yummy!). The quality and delivery service from the company has earned praise from many online customers.
Their affiliate program offers between 10% to 15% commission per sale for new customers and you can sign up via the ShareASale network. It’s worth noting that a small percentage of the profit made from website sales is donated to water charity for the underprivileged so that’s another good reason to recommend their products online.
5 – Hawaiian Coffee Company
Thanks to the rich volcanic soil, Hawaii has some of the finest coffee that produces a very pleasing aroma. Hawaiian Coffee Company specializes in roasting Kona coffee from this region and its business started way back in 1864 with one of America’s oldest brands called Lion Coffee.
Besides coffee, you can also find a variety of flavored coffee, tea and gift sets in the online store. On-site, if you ever get the chance to visit Hawaii, you can stop by the company’s production site and book for a coffee roastery tour, to get more insight about this unique cup of joe. The affiliate program can be found inside ShareASale and it offers up to 20% in sales commissions.
6 – Sudden Coffee
The word ‘instant’ doesn’t really fit into the world of gourmet coffee but this company is different. Using freeze-dried technology, Sudden Coffee is able to make small batches of crystalized coffee, packaged in recyclable plastics, so that it tastes the same as the roasted ones when mixing with water.
Their coffee is 100% Arabica, comes from single-origin beans with no additives and can be used on hot or cold drinks. The product offers are very simple – only 3 types of packaging (8,24 or 48 cups) are available and you can subscribe for monthly orders. The affiliate program can also be found on ShareASale and it pays 25% per sale in commission.
7 – 1st in Coffee
1st in Coffee the premier online retailer of all things espresso. The site sells espresso machines, coffee makers, grinders and coffee from a variety of brands. If you’re new to drinking espresso, they also have sampler packs to try.
This site is a good example to show what I mentioned earlier, leveraging higher-priced items like machines while recommending a gourmet coffee. The affiliate program for this company is also available through ShareASale and currently offers 7% per sale, with a 90-day cookie.
Now, a good espresso machine sells well over hundreds of dollars so if a customer purchase through your links, you could be earning at least $7 (or more) in commission per transaction.
8 – Life Boost Coffee
The trademark for Life Boost Coffee is organic, sustainable farming and mycotoxin-free. Deriving from Central America, their coffee is of single-origin and undergoes a rigorous processing method to ensure that it’s healthy for consumption. In fact, its low acidity nature is known to be suitable even for people with digestive issues.
Their incentive programs come in two forms. As a member referral, you can earn a $15 discount from store purchases and as a Life Boost affiliate, you could make $30 per referral. This is probably the highest commission I’ve come across in the entire list so far.
So if you’re a health-oriented person, this may be the top coffee recommendation for your blog.
9 – Gourmesso
Gourmesso is a premium European coffee company established in 2013 that specializes in producing coffee pods for Nespresso and Keurig machines. Its Nespresso compatible pods have over 25 varieties, derived from fair trade and organic coffee and are much more affordable than the original ones.
Their K-Cups, on the other hand, are sourced from Indonesia, South and Central America and the pods are made of 100% compostable materials. For every order made online, the company will plant a tree in collaboration with the National Forest Foundation. Cool, uh?
Like most sites we’ve seen before this, Gourmesso also offers two types of incentives. For member’s referral, you’d get $5 off from your store purchases and for affiliates, you’ll get 20% per sale. The affiliate program is available through CJ Affiliate Network.
10 – BulletProof
BulletProof prides itself in producing the cleanest premium coffees that are tested for toxins while retaining excellent flavors. Their beans are sourced from certified growers based in Central and South America who comply with sustainable farming methods.
Their unique trademark is the octane oil that can be mixed into your coffee to help with fat burning and brain-boosting power. The variety of coffee consists of ground, whole bean, pods, cold brew, and even starter kits.
BulletProof’s affiliate program, available through Impact Network, offers 10% per sale and a $25 flat fee per subscription order.
11 – Green Roads
Back in October 2018, I highlighted the upward trend of the CBD niche and introduced many exciting CBD affiliate programs to you guys. Adding to that list today is an award-winning company called Green Road that produces such a range of products, including CBD infused coffee.
Its ground coffee originates from Colombia and is added with certified hemp derived from the US. CBD coffee is known to have the benefits of easing the mind and body while enjoying a morning cup. The same effect can also be found with CBD infused tea.
Green Roads’ affiliate program can be found on ShareASale and pays 10% per sale. Once you’ve reached the threshold of $500 in commission, you can request a payout.

My career has been in the coffee industry for the past 20 years and I never knew these companies got involved in affiliate marketing. What a great niche to think about.
I’ve always wanted to try Kopi Luwak and even though the thought of it is disgusting, it’s supposed to be the most aromatic coffee in the world.

I had my first Kopi Luwak in Bali and it tasted awesome. Just don’t think that it’s coming out from the poop and you should be fine 😉

I am a coffee lover/addict too. I am always looking for a cup of coffee every morning and after lunch.
Luwak coffee is very rare and exquisite. I remembered traveling to Vietnam just to enjoy this coffee – 1 cup of 150 ml cost about $25. But the taste is really unique so it’s worthwhile. Seeing all these affiliate programs makes me want to start a coffee business myself too.
Cathy says
Go for it Kylie! Coffee is an evergreen business niche with plenty of opportunities to explore.

Thanks so much for sharing this information. Why never I thought about coffee as an affiliate opportunity to grow an online business? This would be so interesting! My husband loves coffee and I think this is something he could get into when he retires. I am sure your article will serve as a helpful guide for him.

Glad to know you found inspiration through this post, Alejandra!
