Today’s review is about another program that’s been heavily promoted through emails recently. It exhibits the same tone as most products I’ve reviewed before with claims that you can make a 4 figure income per day. What is Digital Formula exactly and should you trust everything it says? Let’s find out.
Digital Formula at a Glance
Digital Formula (DF) is basically a make money online program that teaches about cryptocurrency investment. Created by a guy called Neil Carter, the basic level sells at $17 for a one time fee.
Inside the basic program, you get a resource page (to sites like cryptocurrency stock markets, news, and telegram groups), the main guide book (26 pages long) on the overview of the topic and a bonus guide book on profiting from Bitcoin in the following 10 topics;
- What are Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency
- How is the value of Bitcoin determined
- Different techniques for acquiring bitcoin
- Everything you need to know about Bitcoin mining
- Storing your bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies safely
- Trading and selling Bitcoin for profits
- Using Bitcoin as an investment strategy
- Accepting and using Bitcoin in your business
- Protect yourself against fraud and theft
- The future of cryptocurrency
As with most digital products, you can expect two more upsells – Digital Airdrops Package worth $197 (later downsell to $97) and Digital Academy Package worth $147 if you want more training features. On the disclaimer, it’s clearly stated that all information is provided for educational purposes only and shouldn’t be used as professional investment advice.
Well, fair enough. That’s good to know since cryptocurrency is such a broad, controversial and foreign topic to most people, you want to be thoroughly educated before investing time and money into this opportunity.
The Advantages of Digital Formula
Unlike other programs that only talk about online marketing, DF offers an interesting approach by tapping into the multibillion-dollar cryptocurrency niche. This is legit stuff that has made a lot of people rich and I am sure you’ve read about those stories in the news.
Yet there’s a huge knowledge gap and also plenty of noises on what the investment actually looks like. For the most part, it sounded like Greek. Many people are clueless and confused about how to get started.
So when someone puts together a guidebook and breaks it down into smaller topics, the complexity of the niche seems much easier to digest. Besides, $17 doesn’t cost a lot and if the product doesn’t meet your expectations, you can always request a refund from Clickbank within 60 days.
What I Don’t Like About Digital Formula
If you take the time to watch the entire sales video (which lasted about 20 minutes long), it’s kind of hyped up and you’ll be questioning the credentials of the program just like I did.
1 – First, there’s actually no membership feature for the price that you pay, unless you choose to upgrade. With the basic plan, you are just getting a bunch of guide books and resource links. There’s not even a single video tutorial, forum area or Facebook group. Who would you ask if you have some questions? We don’t know.
And if you read through the topic content, it’s no different from what you would get off the internet for free. Heck, for that kind of price, the creator could have bought from PLR sites – who knows?! It’s just like buying an eBook and read it yourself.
I was hoping that the upsells can provide something better, but much to my disappointment, I wasn’t able to find a single online review that can offer positive insights about those two training. Hence, I didn’t even bother to upgrade.
2 – When someone says they have experience in a certain field, they usually show their true selves. It’s a way of promoting their expertise and also acts as social proof. However, in the case of Neil Carter, you wouldn’t find any of that inside Digital Formula.
Just to give you an idea, take a look inside the Udemy marketplace and search under the cryptocurrency topic. You’ll find a lot of tutors for that subject, but what differentiates them from Neil is the credible profiles that clearly demonstrate their expertise in the field.
Many are certified instructors, professional trainer and venture capitalists in their own right. Their courses are highly elaborative, engaging, affordable and even received stellar ratings from students worldwide.
Doesn’t that say a lot about the quality of their training? If you are truly interested in knowing more about cryptocurrency, who would you rather learn from? The answer should be quite obvious here.
3 – Another marketing tactic that has been so widely abused by all these make-money-online programs is the use of fake testimonials. The creator would hire someone from Fiverr to make a customer review, often saying positive things about the product they didn’t even try (I am very sure about that).
This guy called himself XX and claimed that he makes XX amount of money with the Digital Formula system. And you know what? I’ve seen him before in another program called the 7 Minutes Daily Profits under a different. In actual fact, ‘Jake’ is a 5-star spokesperson who is very good at acting and I wouldn’t blame if you think it’s real.
He isn’t the only one though. Explode My PayDay, CB Cash Code and Ad Formula also use the same tactic to prove their programs are legitimate in the beginner’s eyes. I bet they didn’t know it was that easy to spot what’s fake and what’s not with just some simple online research.
Those fake testimonials are a bunch of craps and I think the creator is just desperate to get some good words out there for his seemingly (not-so) promising program.
4 – For those who are actively promoting programs from the make-money-online niche, you might have thought about doing the same for this product. Honestly, I wouldn’t be too keen if I were you. The way DF is marketed is kind of misleading – the sounds-good-to-be-true income claims, the fake testimonial, and the non-existing founder.
Such a sketchy product can’t gain trust from online users. I’ve reviewed a bunch of them in the past and they all have the same tactics. It probably explains why the Clickbank gravity score is so low for this program as well. That’s something to watch out for when picking any product to promote from Clickbank.
Having said that, there are a ton of cryptocurrency affiliate programs to join. So, instead of just talking about making money online, you should actually dive into the nitty-gritty of this niche and leverage from ongoing buying-selling trends. Many offer legit opportunities and they also pay lucratively.
Is Digital Formula Worth Your Time?
As for now, cryptocurrency is a super-hot topic that attracts investors, economists and also many curious minds. Any training that can effectively educate, guide and show you how things are done based on experience and case studies, is a good one.
If the information is merely a regurgitation from a pool of general content or just scrapping the surface of a complex topic like what Digital Formula is doing, I don’t think it is worth your time and investment.
Hypes aside, the product is subpar in quality and I think the purpose is just to funnel you to buy the higher priced products without offering any substantial value. In the worst case scenario, your email will be used/rented out for future online promotion from similar programs and you would end up with a lot of spams, just like I did.
In a nutshell, cryptocurrency is risky in nature. It’s like the stock market and property flipping – you need to buy first BEFORE you can sell anything for profit. It’s not a quick process that can turn rags to riches and just like any business you and I know, it will take time to gain traction.
However, not all business needs a huge investment. Affiliate marketing, for example, is fundamentally easy, to begin with. You just need a blog and a strong dose of passion in a niche (cryptocurrency anyone?) and you are pretty much good to go.
And oh, a solid training platform on how to get consistent traffic to your blog will help a great deal in pushing your business forward too. If you need any guidance in this, sign up through this page for free and I would be more than happy to help.
