Self-improvement as we know it is a popular search topic online. If you’re a blogger, aspiring to help others get back on their feet and experience positive life transformation, the Tony Robbins affiliate program could be right up your alley.
You heard it right. Mr. Tony has an official website that sells all his motivational products and he’s opening partnership opportunities for you to tap into the coaching niche. What’s inside the program and will the products resonate with your audience? Let’s walk through the details together.
Who Is Tony Robbins
Tony Robbins is a household name we commonly hear in the media. With over 4 decades of experience in coaching, this charismatic man wears many hats. He’s an author, a philanthropist, an entrepreneur, but above everything else, he’s notably known for motivational speaking.
His business revolves around training individuals and businesses to achieve growth beyond their wildest dreams and he’s been pretty successful at it so far. Some of the big names he has helped to train are tennis player, Serena Williams, hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones, celebrity Oprah Winfrey and political leader, Bill Clinton.
Endorsed by big companies like American Express and education institutions like Harvard Business School, Tony has trained millions of people using research-proven personal development techniques and psychological skills.
On his website, you’ll find training that covers many aspects of our lives such as personal achievement, business performance, fitness goals, and one that we can all relate to in the current situation, financial freedom.
The Tony Robbins Affiliate Program
The program pays 10-15% for every online sale that transpires from live events or product purchases within 45 days. Signing up is free via CJ Affiliate and Avantlink, but in most cases, you need to have a functional site to be approved as an affiliate.
This means the niche must firstly be relevant – entrepreneurship, education, personal growth, and fitness – these are all appropriate niches to promote his products. Secondly, there has to be good quality content on the site to display your knowledge and proficiency at a given niche. In other words, don’t just write what you know but dig deep into the topics.
If you’re new to setting up a niche site OR struggling to get traffic, here are some tools and resources that could help;
- SiteRubix – Versatility is what makes WordPress one of the best platforms for blogging. Use this builder and hosting to create one for free.
- Jaaxy – Keyword research doesn’t need to be complicated. Use this tool to get targeted keywords within seconds and create content that converts.
- Wealthy Affiliate – Want to know how other affiliate marketers make it? Join this community for more marketing ideas, strategies, and training that can take your online business to the next level.
If you think this is the only way to partner with Tony, you’d be excited to learn about another program called Unleash The Power Within. It’s a 4 days event, hosted by Tony and several other motivational speakers, aiming to help one achieve the fullest potential in life.
The popular UPW event takes place in different parts of the world and you get a 20-30% commission for every ticket sales. *Hint – tickets tend to sell out fast. To be part of the affiliate program, you need to apply directly through the official page as it is not included in any affiliate networks.
The Advantages
So, what can Tony Robbins offer you and your audience? Let’s examine from a positive perspective first.
(1) Associate With The Number #1 Trainer
With more than 40 years of experience, Tony’s credentials speak for themselves. And it’s not just all talks. He’s good at what he does because he uses research-proven techniques and systematic approaches that yield results. The presence of his name emanates a strong trust factor because people know they are going to get a good experience interacting with him.
(2) A Multibillion Dollar Industry
The self-help niche isn’t just popular; it’s a money-making industry that targets anyone who wants to be successful in life. This trend has been on-going for the past 5 years especially in the area of personal development, business coaching, and fitness goals.
More so in 2020 as the whole world searches for support, strength, and hope in braving the COVID-19 pandemic that has greatly impacted our daily lives. Sales for coaching products are said to have soared for the past 6 months and many trainers like Tony Robbins are already tapping into this dramatic shift in consumer behavior which is expected to last for a while.
(3) Leveraging the Digital Learning Space
Back in the good old days, we needed to buy tickets to attend motivational talks but now, every form of education is available online with just a click of a button. Tony, a business strategist in his own rights, clearly knows how to leverage from digital learning.
While other trainers are still using traditional marketing, most of his training products are already available in audio, videos, and apps which are accessible through his official website. Heck, even his UPW events have gone virtual!
These adaptations not only appeal to tech-savvy users but also allow for better sales conversion because of convenience and accessibility. Instead of having to buy a paperback book, customers can now opt to listen to audiobooks. And instead of attending a physical event, they can choose to watch live online right from the comfort of their home.
In fact, that’s the beauty of affiliating with digital products in any kind of niche nowadays. Most of the time, they pay better than physical products and you never have to deal with anything going out of stock.
(4) Higher Ticket Item = Bigger Commissions
Because of its values and demand, coaching products by professionals are often sold at a bigger price tag. For example, some of Tony’s comprehensive digital training are priced at $249. Factor that with a 15% commission and you’d make roughly $37 per sale for this online product.
And let’s not forget the UPW affiliate program mentioned earlier. Admission for this event starts at $395 and at a minimum of 20% commission, your profit starts at $80 per ticket sales, which is very generous if you asked me. This is the kind of perks you can expect to get promoting high ticket items but not all of them are like that.
Some online programs with big commissions offer no value to the customers – they are either copycat or purely scams – so it’s important to research and not be affiliated with these types of products.
The Drawbacks
Despite Tony’s popularity, it’s not always rainbow and roses when affiliating with his program. Here are some of the reasons.
(1) Coaching is a very competitive niche and nowadays, there are many trainers who are equally as good as him, if not better. Most of the newer ones are quite specific in what they do. For example, a fitness coach trains in terms of health while a real estate coach assists people in becoming successful in the property business.
Some audiences may find this kind of approach more practical and relevant to the goals they want to achieve in life. So it all boils down to what you want to offer your niche. Compare these life-coaching affiliate programs to Tony’s and see which resonates with you the most.
(2) Tony isn’t without his own fair share of critics. Not everyone will fancy his way of training or agree with his philosophy. Some feel what he teaches isn’t anything new – the only difference is that he’s more convincing and bolder than others.
This is, of course, something to be analyzed from a niche perspective. Simply because he’s a professional doesn’t mean his training is suitable for your audience.
My Take on Tony Robbins Affiliate Program
Combined with e-learning, the online coaching market is expected to grow exponentially moving forward. So if you’re involved in the evergreen niches like fitness, business, and education, offering training programs can offer great values because people see it as an opportunity to improve themselves.
If Tony’s comprehensive and transformative training can be a huge benefit to your audience, you should definitely give the program a go. If you’re still unsure, check out some of his audiobooks and podcasts on Scribd for better insights.

Tony Robbins’s profile is really inspiring and motivating. Talking about the coaching niche, I must say you are right on the aspect of competition. There are numerous coaches out there, with one new outshining the others as they take turns in reigning. Nevertheless, his affiliate program doesn’t seem that bad. Despite the drawbacks, I still consider it to be okay.

I didn’t realize that Tony Robbins had an affiliate program – that’s so cool.
I’ve already given some of his materials a mention on my website, but it would be better to have an affiliate link included since it’s something that I already endorse. In fact, I went to the UPW event about 5 years ago and learned some important lessons there. It was also pretty neat to do the firewalk with hundreds of other attendees!

That’s great to know, Aly!

This article got me thinking – I have always wanted to get successful enough to tap into the coaching niche. I feel like I could be a coach someday, given that I have coached all four of my children on how to walk, ride a bike, put their clothes away, respect their elders and authority, and play many sports.
I would like to tap into Tony’s mind on how to go about internet coaching. I think there are potential opportunities in showing people how to start an online business, how to set up a website, how to find the right affiliate platform and get free traffic from Google and etc.
