If you are someone who’s trying to get out of the rat race, this next program may appeal to you. Fresh and newly launched, the Quit 9 to 5 Academy seems to offer a lot of promises for those who want to start making money online. But, what exactly is behind the hefty joining fee and most importantly, is this the right program for you? Read on to find out more.
Quit 9 to 5 Academy At a Glance
The Quit 9 to 5 Academy (I’ll call it Q9t5 throughout this article) is basically a comprehensive coaching program that teaches you on how to monetize online through affiliate marketing.
In this low risk business model, you get to promote other people’s product and earn commissions from online sales referral. Since there’s no inventory to manage, you just need to focus on the marketing aspects. Hence, it’s generally suitable for affiliate marketers who have some experience in funnel creation, digital product owners, CPA and lead generation businesses.
Given the number of existing niche opportunities, there are many affiliate programs you can join. Some are privately managed and some are available through affiliate networks. In the case of this training, you will be taught mostly to promote digital products from Clickbank.
The brainchild behind this academy is internet marketer Mark Ling who also founded training sites like Affilorama that has been around for a very long time. Joining him are two successful affiliate marketers, Nick Torson and Max Sylvestre and together, the program aims to reveal a powerful marketing system that can maximize profitability of one’s online business.
What’s Inside The Program?
Designed to be self-paced, the core training consists of six different modules that will walk you through the basics to the advanced techniques of affiliate marketing.
In Module 1, you’ll learn how to find digital products to promote and using a proven model to set up a sales funnel. In Module 2 and 3, you’ll be setting up ad campaigns to promote on Facebook and tracking the performance through analytics. In Module 4 and 5, you’ll learn how to scale the ads and promote through retargeting technique. Finally, you’ll learn all about bidding strategies in Module 6.
And then there’s the add-on bonuses that teaches you how to become a vendor through your own digital product creation, provision of unlimited ad accounts and tickets to their secret mastermind event that’s scheduled to be held in San Diego sometime this year.
Besides that, you’ll also get access to their private Facebook group, weekly masterclass that dive into funnel building technique, done-for-you landing page templates and most importantly, the opportunity to make big money – as much as $1200+ – promoting the academy.
That explains why there are currently so many raving online reviews about the program when you try to research more about it.
How Much Does It Cost?
Now for the big question, how much is the overall program fee? For a one time payment, it would cost $2,497. This includes future updates or additional training in the program. Alternatively, you could also pay $997 per time over 3 payments, but that actually costs about $490 more above the original price.
Is Q9t5 a Scam?
With that kind of hefty price tag and no free trial, I wouldn’t blame you for questioning if the program is a scam. After all, the name does sound a bit cheesy and if you get the chance to see all the testimonial earnings on the promo video, it might give you a misleading dash of hope.
However, not all high ticket products are bad and in the case of Q9t5, you are paying for the exclusivity to have experienced marketers share their knowledge and the convenience of having all this information in one place. Whether or not you can afford such training, is a different matter altogether.
Despite that, it’s still a fairly new program and although Mark Ling is well known in the industry, we have also seen some of his highly priced training like Learn Build Earn, discontinued after a short period of time. So it begs the question, how long will this one last?
The nature with expensive programs is that they always have a spike of popularity in the beginning – thanks to the heavy promotion by the affiliates – and then fizzle towards the end.
My guess is that, if a product price goes beyond what most people are comfortable paying online, it will cease to exist after a while. Since all this information is abundant on the internet, users can always explore cheaper yet effective alternatives.
As such, expensive mastermind groups will find it difficult to sustain their business or make a profit – whichever comes first – for the long term and thus, closing the programs become inevitable. So, whenever a product guarantees no-fee-for-future-updates, you need to take that statement with a pinch of salt because we don’t really know what the future holds.
Can You Make Money With Quit 9 the 5 Academy?
The main objective of the training is to teach you how to maximize earning for affiliate offers through Facebook advertising. Between module 1 and 2, there’s a sharp jump from the basic level to the advanced technique of ad creation and this can be a steep learning curve for people who are inexperienced and clueless about the industry’s jargon.
In short, you’ll be using ads to attract targeted audience from the social media space and convert them into buying customers. In reality, this means spending money testing different campaigns to see what works and what doesn’t.
Depending on your budget, it’s going to cost anywhere from $5 a day to $100k a week. That’s about $150+ to $400k per month ON TOP of the program fee even before making any profit. That’s a lot of money for most people, especially if you have daily bills to pay.
The thing is, putting in $5 today doesn’t mean that you’ll be making profit by tomorrow. Yes, you can make money at some point, but you also need to fork out a lot in advance and willing to make some costly mistakes in between.
Advertisement is naturally a complex and risky business and if you don’t have a good understanding of the niche you want to promote, relying on paid traffic alone – even under the guidance of experts – isn’t a good idea because you are putting all eggs in one basket.
And since you are not leveraging from free traffic that can be found abundantly online, there’s a constant need to inject money all the time. The moment you stop that, there will be no traffic generation. So unless you’ve got experience doing online advertising, I don’t find this program suitable for newbies or even the faint-hearted.
So, Is The Program Worth The Price Tag?
Overall, Q9t5 seems like a legit training program that covers mostly advanced marketing techniques. If you’ve been doing affiliate marketing for a while and feel it’s time to grow your business with Facebook, you could certainly check out the program and see what the top marketers have up their sleeves. Granted, you must also have a lot of cash to begin with and if things don’t go as planned, you can always ask for a refund within 30 days.
But if this is your first time trying to make money online and don’t have thousands of dollars to spare within a short period, then this program isn’t for you. I reiterate – there are many ways to learn affiliate marketing and it doesn’t have to be expensive or exclusive. You can always start with something simple like a blog and grow from there.
Remember when I said there is free online traffic everywhere? You can convert this traffic into sales even without advertisement or any type of guru-based program. You just need to know how the search engines work, optimized your marketing strategies accordingly and you’d be making long term income from affiliate products.
Here’s a comprehensive training program you can join at an affordable fee and start leveraging from free traffic method strategy. It’s been around for 10 years and has many up-to-date tutorials and service features that you can benefit from.
So don’t be too quick to quit your daily 9 to 5 job yet. Find out more about the different money making opportunities, get to know what your niche is all about and what level of risks you are willing to take to promote it.
