Does it feel like you are all alone in the make-money-online sphere with no one to guide around? Then it’s probably time to join a like-minded community and get to know some people. In today’s Beer Money Forum review, we’ll find out the interesting, the setbacks and everything else in between. So grab a beer (or juice if you like) and sit back while we take a full tour.
Beer Money Forum at a Glance
Before wandering too far off, let’s get one thing right. The forum has nothing to do with beer or alcohol of any kind. Beer money is simply a representation of extra cash that one earns on the side. Of course, with commitment, it’s not impossible to turn it into a passive income stream.
Beer Money Forum (BMF) is created by an internet marketer called I. C. Daniel sometime back in March 2016. Inside the make-money-online forum, he’s also known as Mr. B and you can catch him in action on some of the official YouTube videos.
The platform is open to anyone who wants to learn or discuss online monetizing tips and for online businesses to promote their products and services. Currently, there are hundreds of active members participating in the following sub-forums;
1 – Investing Forum – Talks about high-yield online investment opportunities such as Forex, gambling, stocks, robo-advisor, online business ideas and real estate too if you are into that. A piece of strong advice though – don’t invest in any of these programs if you can’t afford to lose.
2 – Make Money Forum – Talks about various online job opportunities for different groups of people such as stay-at-home moms, college students, and hobbyists. It also comes with tutorial resources, a marketplace and a special column for people to share their success stories with others.
3 – Internet Marketing Forum – Talks about affiliate marketing, traffic and monetization and reports scams to the community. These postings go deep into program reviews, network reviews as well as offering tutorials on the subject matter.
4 – Get Paid To (GPT) Forum – Mainly focus on task-oriented programs such as reward apps, writing programs, paid surveys and paid-to-click sites. These tasks are easy to join, but they are also time-consuming and don’t yield a lot of profit.
5 – Webmasters Forum – This section is all about taking control of your websites through design/programming, domains/web hostings and mastering search engine optimization (SEO). You get to learn about different software, hosting services and get feedback for your sites. Good for those who own an online business or a blog.
6 – Crypto Forum – As the name suggests, this section talks about cryptocurrencies trends, offers, and the latest programs.
Does It Cost Anything to Join?
Joining BMF is totally free and it gives you access to all six subforums mentioned earlier. After completing a simple registration, you can start posting comments and questions on any topic. This works just fine for beginners to learn new stuff and for marketers to interconnect.
Premium memberships are available for those who want to do promotion. Basically, these plans allow more control over publicizing your identity, more discounts on advertisements and more technical support. There are two types of pricing to choose from – $47 per 12 months for a regular member and $97 per 12 months for a company.
On top of that, various advertisement charges will also incur depending on how much exposure you want to get. The cheapest package is a sticky thread that costs $47 per month. Banners will cost anything between $97 to $1500 per month while background ads (the most expensive one) cost $2000 per month.
What Can You Benefit from the Forum?
I am not usually a fan of forums because they tend to be overcrowded with crappy postings, but the impression I get from BMF was quite different.
1 – Firstly, the platform is well managed and easy to navigate. The creator has taken the initiative to set some ground rules to keep the community as ‘clean’ as possible from spams, thus it tends to attract those people who are serious and ethical about making money online. I also like the fact that the interface is mobile friendly which allows convenient reading while I am on the go.
2 – Whether you are a beginner who is new to online marketing or a high-risk taker, there’s a topic for everyone to follow and to learn something. I personally like the product review section on internet marketing as it provides a lot of fresh ideas for my blog. For you, it could be something else.
3 – If you find yourself using the forum frequently, there’s an opportunity to earn extra cash through its reward program. The system is calculated based on tokens earned in which 1000 BMF Tokens is equivalent to $1USD. Once the threshold is met, you can request to be paid through PayPal.
Here are some ways to earn tokens by participating in the forum activities;
- Take surveys from BeerSurveys, another site owned by Mr.B himself.
- Refer a new member to the forum and earn 1000 tokens. You can make use of text links as well as the banners provided to promote on Facebook, YouTube or a blog.
- Create a new thread and earn 50 tokens.
- Reply to a post and earn 20 tokens.
- Create private tutorials in which members have to pay tokens for access.
- Report unsolicited private messages and earn 500 tokens. This helps to ensure that you receive minimal spamming within the community.
- When someone likes your posts, you’ll earn 10 tokens.
- Create jobs or deals on the marketplace to earn more tokens.
The token system seems to change periodically, so make sure you check the rewards page from time to time, should you decide to go serious with it.
Some Disadvantages to Take Note
Like most public forums, it’s impossible to regulate the site 100% to keep it ideal for everyone, especially when Mr.B appears to be the only guy running the entire show, from being the founder to the admin staff.
1 – Wherever you look, there’s bound to be advertisements plastered at every corner of the forum. Some people may find it annoying but keep in mind that they are crucial for platform maintenance such as hosting and website fees, allowing the majority of people to access for free. Also, it’s just another way for people to make money from membership sites.
2 – A lot of the advertisements may look like ‘shiny objects’ but they are not endorsed by BMF in any way so it’s important to use reasonable judgment before joining any of the programs. Like any opportunities online, consider the legitimacy and various risks involved to avoid falling for complicated scams or losing more money than you can afford.
3 – As far as training is concerned, there aren’t that many as I hoped. You mostly find them in the Make Money and Webmaster Forum. Even so, most guides and tutorials were created as far back as 2014 and there haven’t been any updates or discussions on the topics since. It’s definitely a far cry from what you would experience in this online entrepreneurship program.
So, Is Beer Money Forum Worth Joining?
Overall, BMF is a decent forum that’s simple to use with a lot of newsfeed on the topics of making money online. Such exposure, especially when you can access for free, is crucial for opening doors to more marketing opportunities and income potential. I certainly don’t see any harm in joining as a member or as a company promoting your business.
However, if you are looking for more in-depth training in the areas of internet marketing and webmaster tips for the purpose of establishing a long term income stream, the forum itself will not be sufficient.
Instead, you might want to look at joining a community like this one that is more engaging, has up-to-date training and provides website support to help you build a strong online foundation. It’s also free to get started, so I highly recommend you check it out.
Hopefully, this review has given you a good idea of what Beer Money Forum is all about. If you have any thoughts or questions about the topic, I would be happy to respond in the comment below.
