Almost all the services will offer first-time discounts for new users while allowing ordering flexibility like pre-ordering in advance, customizing the meal plan schedule and canceling without any contract.

Hello Cathy,
I have experience with purchasing a meal plan with Sun Basket. And boy, you can taste the difference with Sun Basket because it’s organic. The way I came across this company was with a $100 off gift card from Chegg. I pondered the ideas of eating this way, and I went for it.
I don’t always have time to cook wholesome meals, and thought “what the heck.” The meals I’ve tasted so far are very delicious and it feels healthy. Highly recommended. Now that I know they have an affiliate program, it makes it even more worthwhile to recommend Sun Basket, since I’ve used them before. Will look into the opportunity.
Cathy says
Hey Josh, thanks for sharing your experience. SunBasket sounds like a meal kit program worth trying.

This is a market segment that I was totally unaware of when it comes to affiliate income opportunities, so I was very intrigued to learn more about these home meal delivery programs. It does make a lot of sense as this is a growing market, especially in urban areas.
Based on the list you’ve provided, I couldn’t help being impressed with how this niche has developed. My father used to help with the local Meals on Wheels program, and I saw first hand how it served a real need. The same concept has been taken mainstream it appears.
I will definitely look into some of these companies and tap into the earnings potential.

Great article!
I literally was just looking around the other day for some good niche options for affiliate marketing. We all know about Amazon and other large websites and often overlook the smaller ones from local businesses.
I do think the meal delivery program, especially pre-portioned ones, are a good movement for the community. It can relate to a wide audience – People who don’t or don’t have the time to cook or shop around for ingredients. It’s interesting to know that services like these come with affiliate programs. Something worth looking into.

So many opportunities, especially when you can link these programs that offer nutrient-dense, vegetarian, vegan or paleo meals. Diets for specific conditions are certainly worth mentioning as well. I guess someone who’s diabetic would appreciate someone sending nutritious meal their way every day.
Definitely going to look into this opportunity. Thanks for doing the leg work.

Time is such a scarce resource nowadays and I think home meal kits can help many parents provide healthy meals for their kids and families. Your comprehensive list is a great start for consumers and niche bloggers alike. I might even subscribe to one of these programs to test out the experience myself.

Hey Cathy, I really like the concept of home meal delivery. These meal kits are just becoming popular in the last couple of years here in NZ. I am not sure if they are big enough to have affiliate programs yet, although one of them does boast a Masterchef NZ winner as its ‘front person’.
You have sparked my interest in this topic and I am off to see, if they don’t have a program, are they interested in setting one up? Thanks for sharing.
Cathy says
Hey Hamish, I did a quick check on home meal deliveries in New Zealand and indeed, there are some interesting companies. I’m sure they will adopt the affiliate/referral marketing strategies soon as they learn from their counterparts in the US.
